THE OPPORTUNITY

At Chipotle, we’re rethinking how people experience food from the first tap in our app to the moments that happen inside our restaurants. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll help shape those experiences end-to-end.

You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and restaurant teams to design solutions that are simple, thoughtful, and built to scale. This role is a mix of strategy and hands-on design ideal for someone who enjoys solving real problems, moving quickly, and seeing their work come to life in meaningful ways.

LOCATION

This position will be based in our Newport Beach, CA office 4 days per week (with work from home on Friday). Remote work is not available for this role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead end-to-end design across key product areas, from discovery and concepting to execution, launch, and iteration.

• Partner closely with product managers, engineers, analytics, and operations to turn complex, ambiguous problems into simple, intuitive solutions.

• Design across our full ecosystem: customer-facing platforms and modern enterprise tools that power restaurant operations (crew experiences, in-store systems, and operational workflows).

• Create scalable, system-driven solutions that contribute to and evolve our design system and overall product architecture.

• Use research, data, and experimentation to inform decisions, validate ideas, and drive measurable impact.

• Continuously improve existing experiences by identifying friction, simplifying workflows, and raising the quality bar.

• Move fast when needed, balancing speed and craft to deliver meaningful outcomes.

• Contribute to a strong design culture through feedback, collaboration, and mentorship of other designers.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.

• 5+ years designing native mobile applications from start to finish.

• A good foundation and understanding of all aspects of the field including UX/UI, research, visual design, interaction design, copywriting, graphic design, branding, research & analytics.

• A desire to learn, grow and lead!

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $114,000.00–$160,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
