THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Analyst, Procurement (Grocery & Beverage) is responsible for strategic sourcing and category management across beverages and key commodity ingredients, including corn, rice, honey, lemon-lime juice, condiments, and sweeteners as well as the full beverage portfolio. This role plays a critical part in driving cost optimization, supply continuity, and risk management while supporting menu innovation and product development. The Senior Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement will help lead and support supplier strategy, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality, sustainable, and scalable supply solutions.
LOCATION
This hybrid position will be based in our Newport Beach, CA office 4 days per week (with work from home on Friday). Remote work is not available for this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve margin, reduce risk, and optimize supplier performance across beverage and grocery categories without compromising quality or sustainability standards.
- Work close with the leadership team to develop and implement sourcing strategies for beverages and commodity ingredients, balancing cost, quality, service, and long-term supply continuity. ·
- Monitor and analyze commodity markets (e.g., corn, rice, sweeteners, citrus), translating insights into forward-looking sourcing strategies and risk mitigation plans.
- Partner with Senior Manager, Procurement to identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers that support growth, innovation, and resilience.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; lead supplier Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensure compliance with company standards, and negotiate favorable pricing, capacity, and contract terms.
- Support product development and menu innovation by collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D, Culinary, Quality Assurance, Marketing) to ensure ingredient quality and financial feasibility.
- Lead execution of commercialization and supply chain readiness for new product launches and reformulations within beverages and grocery categories.
- Own and maintain pricing models, forecasts, and data systems, including price updates, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Conduct should-cost analysis and benchmarking to support negotiations and improve overall category financial performance.
- Deliver regular category reviews and communicate market trends, risks, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
- Advance Food with Integrity initiatives by supporting sustainable sourcing, traceability, and responsible supplier practices.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- B.A./B.S. in Supply Chain or Business preferred
- 3-5+ years of experience with strategic sourcing, procurement, planning, supply chain management.
- CPIM/ CPM/Six Sigma or other supply chain profession course preferred.
- Analytical skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Project management, strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience required.
- Category ownership, negotiation, financial planning, contract ownership experience preferred.
- Willing to travel (less than 10% of your time to suppliers, conferences and meetings).
PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $85,000.00–$122,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
