THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an exceptional and highly strategic Data Product Manager to define and lead the data product vision for Customer, CRM/Rewards/Loyalty, Digital Marketing, and Marketing. This is a high-impact role for a product leader who can connect customer and business strategy to enterprise data capabilities, shape the long-term roadmap, and drive measurable outcomes across guest growth, retention, personalization, and marketing performance. The ideal candidate will bring strong product judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners across business, technology, and analytics to build durable, high-value data products that scale with the company.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Set the Strategic Product Direction: Define the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for customer and marketing data products, ensuring investments align to enterprise priorities, guest growth, loyalty engagement, digital performance, and brand impact.
- Own High-Value Business Outcomes: Lead product decisions with a clear focus on business value, translating customer and marketing opportunities into scalable data products that improve personalization, targeting, measurement, retention, and decision quality.
- Shape Enterprise Customer Data Capabilities: Drive the evolution of data products that unify guest, loyalty, campaign, transactional, and digital behavior data into a trusted foundation for segmentation, lifecycle marketing, attribution, and customer intelligence.
- Influence Senior Stakeholders and Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner closely with leaders across Marketing, CRM, Loyalty, Digital, Insights, Data Science, and Engineering to align priorities, shape investment decisions, and ensure data products are tightly connected to strategic business needs.
- Lead Through Ambiguity and Complexity: Navigate complex, evolving problem spaces by setting clear direction, making thoughtful tradeoffs, and balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform and product value.
- Drive Product Excellence Across the Lifecycle: Lead the full product lifecycle—from discovery, strategy, and prioritization through launch, adoption, measurement, and iteration—using strong product management practices and agile delivery discipline.
- Raise the Bar for Trust, Quality, and Usability: Champion strong definitions, governance, and quality standards across customer and marketing data domains so teams can confidently act on insights and embed data products into day-to-day decision-making.
- Build for Scale and Enduring Value: Ensure the portfolio evolves beyond one-off requests and reporting needs into strategic, reusable, scalable data products that unlock long-term enterprise value.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- Deep Product Management Experience: Significant experience in product management, including leading complex data, platform, or analytics products with clear ownership of strategy, prioritization, and business outcomes.
- Strategic Product Leadership: Demonstrated ability to define bold product visions, influence senior stakeholders, shape multi-quarter roadmaps, and make high-quality tradeoff decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Customer and Marketing Domain Strength: Strong command of customer, CRM, rewards/loyalty, digital marketing, and marketing measurement concepts, with the ability to translate business opportunities into differentiated data products and capabilities.
- Business and Outcome Orientation: Proven track record of delivering products that drive measurable impact, such as improved customer engagement, retention, personalization effectiveness, marketing efficiency, or decision quality.
- Enterprise Influence and Cross-Functional Leadership: Exceptional ability to influence without authority and partner effectively across executive stakeholders, business teams, engineering, analytics, data science, and architecture functions.
- Strong Technical and Data Fluency: Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, experimentation, data quality, analytics workflows, and modern data platforms, with the ability to work credibly with technical teams and make informed product decisions.
- Excellent Product Judgment: Ability to separate signal from noise, identify where the highest-value opportunities exist, and focus teams on the work that matters most.
- Communication and Executive Presence: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bring clarity to complexity, tell a compelling product story, and build alignment at multiple levels of the organization.
