THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Internal Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing and executing enterprise-wide internal communications that support Chipotle’s Strategic Priorities, culture and help drive awareness and enhance the overall team member experience. You will be responsible for writing, editing, proofreading and deploying internal communications for Restaurant Operations and Restaurant Support Center employees, including executive messages, organizational announcements, company updates, web content, app posts, video scripts, presentations, crisis alerts and more. You will maintain a deep understanding of the company’s goals, voice and mission while accurately representing the brand company-wide.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Strong candidates are motivated by what they can achieve, growth they could experience and how they will impact the company.
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic internal communication plans for our Restaurant Support Center and Restaurant Operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and subject matter experts to develop and execute internal communication campaigns/plans with a consistent messaging across the organization.
  • Build, implement, and maintain internal communication systems and processes.
  • Write and develop error-free compelling messages on a variety of topics through emails, articles, video scripts, flyers and other internal communication channels while maintaining our brand voice, tone and values.
  • Drive communication activities to support change managements and culture-related initiatives.
  • Support virtual and in-person employee events and leadership meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in Journalism, Communications, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Internal Communications preferred.
  • Strong writing and editing abilities are a must.
  • Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficient in MS SharePoint and Smartsheet.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects are once.
  • Be flexible and available outside of standard business hours to respond quickly to urgent communication needs and crisis situations as they arise.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $113,000.00–$158,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
