TheBIEngineer for the Data, Insights and Analytics team at Chipotle will be assisting in building and maintaining ourEnterprise Grade Reporting Solutions.Youwillbe responsible forthe design, development, implementation, and support of mission-criticalsolutions, using Power BI sourcing data from many disparate sources. Additionally, this role will mine and analyze data that support key business initiatives anddeep dives into business insights.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Design, build and support Enterprise GradePower BIReporting Solutions used by senior leadership, restaurant support centers, fieldleadershipand restaurants.
Collaborating with other BI Engineers around data/table structurestooptimizePower BI Dashboards and other self-service needs.
Build prototypes for demonstration and illustration purposes for peer groups, business partners, or senior leaders, theninitiatethose solutions into production.
Supporting peers and stakeholders through troubleshooting and analysis of results.
Documenting and communicating technical specifications to ensure proper optimized techniques, queries, and final deliverables were understood and incorporated into data and analytics processes.
Look for opportunities to improve current processes or find efficiencies.
Participate in architecture design, discussions, and code reviews.
Maintaininghighcustomer satisfaction through implementation, investigation, analysis, training, andrelationship-buildingefforts.
Clearlycommunicate and drivediscussions on data and insights, context, and implications with business and technology partners.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
Abilitytounderstand, analyze, and articulate complex business questions through data visualization and reporting
Strong working knowledge ofPower BI and T-SQL is preferred
Effectively handle multiple projectsand ad hoc requestssimultaneously
Have excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Manage financial information in a confidential and professional manner
Team player who can take direction and action upon it effectively
Be highly motivated and flexible
PAY TRANSPARENCY
Pay rate is $30 per hour, depending on skill level, experience, and/ oreducation. Compensation offered is also subject to local wage and hour laws.
