THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Test Engineer, Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and executing manual test plans/cases based on supplied business requirements to ensure that all objectives are met. The Test Engineer will create and refine documentation to ensure features and functionality are well documented and all areas are fully tested before the product goes live.
LOCATION
This position will be based onsite in our Columbus, OH office. Remote work is not available for this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Actively participate in test planning, creation, and execution phases, including functional, integration, regression, and end to end testing.
Collaborate with SCRUM teams to incorporate the effective creation of test cases and plans into each 2-week sprint cycle.
Collaborate with the team to implement/maintain manual testing best practices.
Participate in design and technical discussions.
Closely follow a detailed technical roadmap that aligns with our product vision across different business functions.
Responsible for on-time delivery of tests committed to, test plan creation, test plan execution, and test results reporting.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team of Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts and Quality Assurance teams.
Expertise in Timecard Management, Employee Accrual Maintenance, LOA, Security, Integration, Pay Rules, Pay Code, Reporting, Reporting Hours.
Experience in various Kronos modules like Timekeeper, Accruals, Leave, Advance Scheduler, Forecaster and Attestation.
Knowledge in the various UKG configurations such as Pay rules, Work rules, Hyperfinds, Dataviews.
Expertise in UKG Pro WFM Advanced Scheduling modules including Advanced Scheduler, Accruals, and Attestation.
Understand the end-to-end integration design between Workday HCM and UKG Dimensions and any other downstream systems.
Demonstrated knowledge in Workday HR operations including Payroll, Benefits, Onboarding etc.
Strong understanding of Workday functionality, configurations, and integrations with UKG Workforce Dimensions modules and functionality.
Experience in SDLC.
Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Team player and excellent communicator.
Strong experience working in an Agile team environment.
Driven and passionate about Quality Assurance, Software Development, and Agile methodologies.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $74,000.00–$104,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
