THE OPPORTUNITY

The Chipotle Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is a 24/7 crisis monitoring and reporting center that provides real time risk response and analysis for office and restaurants. As the Analyst, Global Security Operations Center you will provide a safe and distraction free environment for all guests and employees. The GSOC provides warnings and guidance on instances such as: threats related to criminal activities, geo-political crises, weather-related emergencies, andnatural disasters affecting our people across the company in support of the Global Security & Resilience (GSR) department vision.   The GSOC Analyst operates as a member of the GSOC team supporting asset protection and crisis related calls from employees and internal partners, coordinating appropriate actions based on policy and procedures. This individual monitor’s external media and proprietary data systems for indications and warnings of enterprise, security, and crisis related events. The Analyst reports all relevant crisis related events to our field, restaurant, and RSC partners.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

·       Demonstrates excellent customer service skills when answering calls from our external, field, restaurant, and RSC partners 

·       Responds to initial emergency issues and coordinates appropriate actions per policy related to all enterprise office locations and restaurants globally 

·       Delivers instructions regarding employee safety to leaders and employees while defusing highly impactful and emotional situations 

·       Accurately and concisely report incidents dealing with theft, safety, security, or whether/disaster issues 

·       Monitors internet, social media, news, and vendor media sources for global security issues, following protocol in case of an emergency, escalating to appropriate internal partners and leadership based on the findings

·       Monitors the security and safety for all employees, including those who travel or work at our office locations. May follow-up with the employee, leadership and internal partners as needed. 

·       Monitors access control, burglar alarms, fire safety systems, and CCTV systems and coordinate issue resolution with the enterprise asset protection team or external resources 

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

·       Strong desire to work 2nd shift (approx. 1600 to Midnight), with two consecutive days off. Weekends and some holidays expected.

·       Strong decision making

·       Ability to build rapport and fosters relationships working well within a team-oriented environment 

·       Excellent customer service and active listening skills 

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

·       Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint 

·       Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment; including diffusing emotional situations and effectively delivering instructions regarding safety 

·       Self-motivated, proactive approach in the application of GSOC, Crisis Management, and Global Security practices 

·       Detailed, working knowledge of building security, fire, and safety systems 

·       Ability to work a variable schedule to support the global operations of a 24/7 team

·       Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in emergency management, criminal justice, or meteorology preferred 

·       Experience supporting a crisis management, security operations, or call center equivalent preferred 

·       Experience as a meteorologist supporting private or public sector crisis/emergency management teams preferred

·       Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $23.55 to $ 30.29. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
