THE OPPORTUNITY

The Lead Analyst, Real Estate Strategy is an integral member of the Development team influencing real estate expansion by managing and conducting market planning efforts and supporting real estate field staff with sales and impact forecasting tools and analysis.  The Lead Analyst, Real Estate Strategy manages real estate research efforts to prioritize market entry and to manage the development and maintenance of site selection tools.  The Lead Analyst, Real Estate Strategy ensures timely data updates and smooth GIS system operation and collaborates across disciplines and departments to ensure alignment on key growth goals. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Conduct some of the annual market planning sessions and provides critical input into the overall Development plan preparation.  A key member of a cross functional effort that ensures organization alignment on growth goals between Development, Marketing, NRO and Operations departments.
• Create and distribute US market and site prioritization data.  Data is developed utilizing primary and secondary research, including the knowledge and experience of local Real Estate Managers, brokers and Operations team members.  Leverage real estate analyst support as appropriate.
• Maintain tools and underlying datasets needed to geographically display existing stores and market plans that can be easily used across Chipotle disciplines.  Interact with and direct vendor support efforts.
• Conduct pre/post opening sales and impact analysis and summarize information for reporting purposes.
• Oversee and lead impact analysis projections for NRO's in a Development team.
• Supports Real Estate team in forecasting NRO sales as needed.
• Create ad hoc spatial analyses to improve real estate site selection and to broaden the business understanding of potential growth vehicles including new restaurant concepts or alternative real estate types.
• Develop training materials and support training of Real Estate Managers, TD's and ETD's to ensure a common understanding of real estate model results and expectations (GIS, Comp Model, Impact Model).

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• B.A./B.S. or the equivalent
• 5 years of experience in GIS and Business Research
• Proficient with MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook.  Experience with Alteryx, FME workbench or other spatial analysis tools. 
• MS Office expert including MS Access.  Knowledge of MapInfo or similar spatial analysis/mapping tools.  Experience with restaurant or retail research

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $98,000.00–$137,000.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
