THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Project Intern for IT Delivery, you will be responsible for ensuring all assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. You will set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects, bring the project to a close, and capture the lessons learned. You will assistIT Delivery leadership in building and maturing processes and tools.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provide day-to-day management of projects.
Partner with Program Managers on coordination activities related to high complexity high impact program support.
Assist Project Sponsor in the definition of project scope and objectives.
Be accountable for the project team’s delivery of all project deliverables.
Build and maintain project schedule for percent complete and milestone deadlines as projects progress
Execute the project engagement process to plan and deliver the project kickoff.
Develop and execute communication management plan, including publishing weekly project status reports and managing key stakeholders.
Execute standard project processes for risks, issue, action, and project change management
Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors.
Assemble and maintain project organization with roles and responsibilities, forecasts resource needs, and secures assignments from the appropriate sourcing departments.
Identify and resolve potential shared resource contention.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
Pursuing Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university
Desire to obtain a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
Project Management tools such as MS Project
Knowledge of Clarity PPM, MS Office suite, JIRA or similar preferred
PAY TRANSPARENCY
A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $24.04–$30.54. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
