THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Digital Fraud Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fraud prevention systems and strategies to protect our digital platforms and assets from fraudulent activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, cybersecurity, finance, and operations, to detect, analyze, and mitigate digital fraud risks. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the security and success of our digital initiatives while ensuring the safety and trust of our valued customers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

·         Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies: Design, develop, and implement effective fraud prevention strategies and measures to safeguard Chipotle's digital platforms and systems from potential fraud risks.

·         Conduct data analysis: Utilize tools to identify patterns, anomalies, and potentially fraudulent activities. Utilize data mining and statistical techniques to detect and address fraudulent behavior.

·         Fraud monitoring and detection: Monitor digital transactions, user behaviors, and system logs to proactively identify and investigate suspicious activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt response to potential fraud incidents.

·         Investigate fraud incidents: Conduct thorough investigations of suspected fraud incidents, gathering evidence and documenting findings. Work closely with external entities, including law enforcement, when necessary.

·         Develop fraud prevention tools and systems: Collaborate with the Global Cybersecurity services team to develop and enhance fraud prevention tools, systems, and technologies. Stay updated on the latest fraud trends and emerging threats to continuously improve Chipotle's fraud prevention capabilities.

·         Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Brand, Operations, and Legal, to ensure effective implementation of fraud prevention measures. Provide guidance and support to business units regarding fraud-related issues.

·         Reporting and documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports on fraud incidents, trends, and prevention measures. Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, findings, and actions taken for reference and audit purposes.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

·         Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university preferred.

·         At least 5 years of relevant digital Fraud/Risk/Compliance experience in the Retail/Ecommerce/Online services industries.

·         Strong understanding of fraud prevention techniques, tools, and methodologies

·         Familiarity with digital payment systems, e-commerce platforms, and mobile applications.

·         In-depth knowledge of fraud trends, tactics, and emerging threats in the digital space.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.

·         Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

·         Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Demonstrated track record for execution and delivery.

·         Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and integrity

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $151,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
