Develop and communicate a procurement business plan; establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the company in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency. Develop cross-functional connections for Limited Time Offers and other Chipotle projects.



In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the development and execution of sourcing strategies; including pricing strategies, portfolio composition, spend targets, timelines, and resource plans
  • Build market intelligence capabilities within each Direct and Indirect supplier category to support restaurant growth
  • Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
  • Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential margin improvement opportunities
  • Serve as point of contact for all strategic supply chain international connections
  • Proactively analyze market trends and develop strategies to rapidly adapt
  • Develop sourcing strategies for LTOs
  • Lead implementation of Food with Integrity program across ingredients related to the role



  • Undergraduate in Economics, Business, Finance or similar required
  • MBA or Graduate degree in Business, Engineering or Supply chain preferred
  • 8+ years of work experience in related field with multi-industry and multi-cultural exposure.
  • 8+ years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with business strategy, pricing strategy, negotiations, contracting, market structures and business driven sustainability implementations
  • Preferred experience in value chain analysis, quantitative analysis, forecasting, scenario analysis, regression analysis
  • Able to communicate with C-level executives
