THE OPPORTUNITY  

Primary responsibility is to serve as the liaison between Chipotle and outside vendors. Responsible for sourcing and vetting vendors, negotiating contracts, and presenting recommendations to executive staff. Specifically, this position will manage the store supplies / store consumables, operational services, and utilities management categories. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical support. 
• Work with all company departments, as needed, to determine company needs
• Studying sales records, inventory levels, replenishment cycles and product lead time; and assessing supply-side market conditions 
• Communicate company needs with vendors
• Negotiate supply contracts
• Document costs and generate reports for Sr. Management
• Other duties as required to meet the needs of the business

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Possess a B.A./B.S. in Business, Finance or Supply Chain
• Able to translate complex objectives into clear, simple actions
• Excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to work across all functions and levels of an organization
• Procurement Analysis / Specialist experience preferred in indirect categories
• Must work independently with attention to detail, accuracy, documentation, and follow-through
• Ability to manage financial data in a confidential and professional manner

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $64,000 to $97,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
