The Fundraising Coordinator (“FRC”) assists with facilitating the payment of Chipotle’s fundraising partners by contacting such partners, as well as Chipotle’s Marketing Strategists and Operations, primarily via e-mail, and obtaining from them the necessary IRS mandated documents. The FRC will also communicate with Chipotle Accounting, Operations, and Marketing, and Fundraising partners pertaining to payment of such fundraising partners. In addition, the FRC will assist with tracking, organizing and researching the status of payment of past, present and future fundraisers.
In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
•Maintaining and updating Excel and Google Docs spreadsheets pertaining to fundraisers and keeping the Salesforce system continuously updated.
•Ensuring the Chipotle’s fundraising partners are paid promptly for the fundraisers which were held at Chipotle be accurately obtaining and then timely entering data into Salesforce, Google Docs and other tracking systems that Chipotle uses.
•Researching the status of documentation for past fundraisers.
•Evaluating IRS related documents pertaining to fundraisers and researching IRS Pub 78 to check for tax approved status of fundraising partners.
•Assist with development and refinement of Chipotle’s fundraising payment program by contributing ideas to the leadership.
•Communicate with Chipotle’s fundraising partners via telephone and, less frequently, via e-mail.
•Helping to create new programs and bring new ideas to impact the company and the local communities.
•Works well in a team setting.
•College Degree, 3.25 GPA or better preferred
•Excellent writing skills including knowledge of grammar and spelling
•Ability to work effectively with all levels of restaurant and field staff
•Ability to approach problems in a logical, organized manner
•Knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneous
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and phone manner
•Excellent grammatical and spelling
•Has the desire and ability to perform excellent work
•Administrative and team setting work experience a plus
•Community engagement experience a plus
