The Real Estate Technology Consultant the administration and development of systems used by Chipotle’s Development Department in the building of new restaurants and the maintenance of those restaurant leases after opening. This role is responsible for department-wide communications regarding system status, updates, and training on new functionality.

The DSM needs to have a detailed understanding of the processes utilized by Chipotle’s Real Estate, Design, Construction, Lease Administration and Accounting Teams to support their daily functions and ensure that our systems are meeting their needs. This role is also responsible for managing external resources and consultants in support of our systems.


The primary role of the DSM is to ensure that the Development Department’s systems are meeting the needs of their users. This includes:

· Leading periodic upgrades of integrated workplace management systems (IWMS)

· Assessment of existing systems performance against user requirements

· Providing technical support as needed to end users

· Oversee the creation of user profiles and ensuring that user administration meets the requirements of Chipotle’s IT Compliance department

· Development of new content within the Tririga platform

· Provide basic report development, as requested by the members of each discipline of the Development Department

· Building & Supporting integrations between Chipotle’s different enterprise systems, including Oracle, Workday, and Sitewise

· Training end users on new system functionality

· Working with IT engineering team members in connecting data centers for integration with other systems

· Managing a support team including the Development Software Coordinator role and external consultants as needed

Success in the responsibilities of this role will be determined by:

· The consistent performance of online systems, like Tririga, and active engagement with support resources

· Successful development and deployment of new content to support the needs of end-users

· Positive end-user feedback on all of the criteria described here

· Maintaining the continued compliance of system administration and licensing


In order to fulfill the responsibilities of this role, applicants should have the below skills/knowledge:

· 3-5 years of experience in some discipline of real estate, design, construction, or lease administration

· Experience working in an IWMS platform (experience with Tririga’s Real Estate and Capital Projects modules preferred)

· Basic technical understanding of html and browser troubleshooting/maintenance

· Knowledge of scrum-agile project management methodology

· Ability to work constructively across disciplines and departments

· Basic sql skills and report development experience

· Experience working with Autodesk Revit or comparable design software

· Experience leading training sessions and developing training materials

· Excellent editorial and communication skills

· Experience delivering succinct and educational presentations

· Ability to define and manage a budget for projects and year-long support

· Commitment to learning about new functionality within existing systems as well as assessing possible alternative systems when a need is identified
