THE OPPORTUNITY

The Procurement Analyst is responsible for coordinating the procurement of goods and services necessary for the operation of the business unit or assigned projects. He/she ensures suppliers adherence to industry standards, delivery schedules and other business unit driven expectations.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Monitoring critical dates and completing project milestones and deliverables associated with the procurement of good and services for individually assigned restaurant load comprised of the more complex and regionally specific states
  • Management of vendor catalogues in Oracle iProcurement, including set-up of new items, update of existing, and working with Fixed Assets to properly classify items
  • Reviewing and interpreting architect’s plans to make purchasing decisions regarding quantities of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for individually assigned restaurant load
  • Implementing technological efficiencies and advancements to support departmental tasks (i.e Autodesk Revit, Excel, etc)
  • Creating, Maintaining, and Executing test scripts and schedules for Oracle Cloud quarterly updates

  • Management of department's internal Lead Time database, partnering with suppliers and Supply Chain to ensure accuracy and up-to-datedness, in order for the Procurement Team to provide strategic consultation on project timelines
  • Executing asset management tracking and recovery practices, procedures and tools ensuring limited risk and exposure
  • Serving as direct point of contact for any communications, issues, and discrepancies related to new construction, facilities projects, and/or warranty issues that arise after construction is complete
  • Processing pay applications and final change orders for GC and architects 
  • Reviewing Weekly Site Update Reports, auditing and preparing changes in project critical dates, addresses, and missing General Contractor or Site Superintendent contact information and distributing to team for actioning; auditing that actions took place in a timely and accurate manner
  • Acting as an integral partner with Construction and Design teams on the planning and ordering for Remodels, Concepts, and International projects; attending project kick-off calls to determine and document scope of project, assess ordering needs, and advise on how product lead times impact the intended construction schedule.  Maintaining and communicating project ordering status on these projects
  • Preparing, distributing, and taking action on vendor Open Order reporting, advising all stakeholders of results and impacts
  • Coordinating and executing Peer Audit and Quality Assurance tasks to ensure department's accuracy and timeliness on all aspects of procurement
  • Documenting and maintaining procedures pertaining to role
  • Prepare monthly team dashboard, KPI, and performance reports for departmental leadership
  • Preparing and distributing key reports, such as NRO PO Holds, PO's not Received, Menu Board Reporting, and ensuring resolution of the identified issues
  • Partnering with department leadership to design, create, and implement best-practices and efficiencies

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

·      Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance preferred

·      5-8 Years in a related field or position
