The People Experience Compliance Associate Manager ensures Chipotle's policies and procedures are compliant with scheduling legislations standards such as Fair Work Week and other wage & hour compliance laws such as attestation, minor scheduling and meal breaks.  Develop, maintain, and distribute comprehensive reports to the appropriate audience auditing employment compliance.  Work alongside operational leadership to provide expertise on standards for compliance with various regulatory bodies.



Manage a team who provide reporting, analysis and auditing for employment compliance such as scheduling legislation and wage and hour rules and regulations.

Create and implement best practice policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations including SOX compliance.  Work with IT/Workday HCM team to design, test and roll out efficiency processes to ensure the team is able to scale to Chipotle's rapid changing and fast pace growth.

Strategize with internal/external legal partners and provide relevant feedback and guidance to appropriate parties regarding current practices and opportunities for improvement as well as best approach for any compliance audits/investigations requirements

Lead audits/inquires on investigations and customer service interactions to ensure alignment with regulatory rules and guidelines.  Correspond with various governmental agencies and monitor internal compliance work as needed to ensure high compliance standards.

Advise internal management or business partners on the implementation or operation of new jurisdiction rollouts and procedures including working with project manager to create project plan and budget for any new roll outs.  

Verify technology solutions that provide oversight and monitoring in all required areas of scheduling legislation.  Evaluate testing procedures to meet the legislation requirements to ensure their effectiveness



5-7 years of experience in Human Resources/Onboarding/Employment Compliance/ Reporting & Auditing

3 years of supervisory experience

High Proficiency with MS Office- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
